Copy a post link from the Instagram app
- Open Instagram and navigate to the exact photo or carousel post.
- Look for the sharing controls on the post. The location or label may vary by app version.
- Select the copy-link option if shown, or open the available sharing menu and copy the link.
- Paste the address into a note or browser address bar so you can check it.
- Return to GrowLoop’s Likes tab, choose a plan and paste the URL into the post/Reels field.
Do not copy your account’s profile link. For a post, the usual URL path contains /p/ followed by a post identifier.
On desktop or in a mobile browser
Open the post on Instagram’s website, then copy the URL from the browser address bar. It will usually resemble https://www.instagram.com/p/EXAMPLE/. Instagram may append tracking parameters to shared URLs; those are not essential to identifying the content.
If you copied a link from a direct message or story, check that it opens the intended permanent post rather than a temporary or account-specific view.
Check that the link really points to your post
- Paste it into a private/incognito browser window.
- Confirm that it reaches the correct image or carousel, not just the profile.
- Make sure it is not a link to a different creator’s post.
- If the account or content is private, check service eligibility before ordering.
- Never share your password or a login verification code.
Common URL mistakes
Wrong: https://www.instagram.com/yourname/ is a profile. Right format: https://www.instagram.com/p/EXAMPLE/ identifies a post. Reels use a different path; see the dedicated Reel-link guide.
If the link no longer opens because the post was removed or made unavailable, ask support what to do rather than silently replacing it with a different post after checkout.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a carousel link?
Yes, a carousel generally uses the post URL, the same /p/ format as a photo post.
Can I paste only my Instagram @username?
No. Likes orders require the direct URL to the selected post or Reel.
Does GrowLoop need access to my Instagram login?
No. The on-site pop-up uses a public content URL and an email address.
